A very nice feature ceiling is illustrated at the multi-function hall of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
The waving ceiling is in timber look finish; with powder coated as base coating and heat image transfer of the wood grains on the surface.
The ceiling panels are flat; by using System 110 Hook-on Ceiling system, the primary channel profiles DP16 are factory pre-curved to the required radii. Behind the eye-shape of the overlapped concave and convex ceiling panels are the locations of the air-outlets. The front is covered with louvers in black.
The interior wall is cladded with colourful metal cladding panels where the air-return area is hiding behind the black aluminium louvers at the top of the wall cladding.
