The Indoor swimming pools are one of the facilities available at Tai Kok Tsui Municipal Building in Hong Kong. The building also comprises of market, food court, library, sports hall and government offices. Suckow & Fischer was the metal ceiling supplier for the entire building more than 10 years ago.
With the government fund approval, ASD and the management decided to upgrade the indoor swimming pools from replacing the original linear strip ceiling to open baffle panels. System 1020 baffle ceiling was chosen. The baffle element is in 30 x 100 mm perforated with acoustic black fleece inside. The RAL 9003 white baffle panels are installed with factory pre-curved carriers.
The blue colour baffle panels are installed flat in the middle of the swimming pool area where the air ducting and air-conditioning outlets are hiding behind. The new ceiling look of the swimming pool provides comfortable & relaxing envirnoment with good acoustic function.
